a good telling off by my mum.....funny

can you tell what it is yet?????

I spent hours laughing over photos like this. As i'm sure you realise this is actually the inside of my bent arm. But it looks effective dont you think??
A story about this ....
I had some fun photo texting going on with my nephew and niece. We were trying to gross out each other. Yes i'm a grown up and should know better but anyhow it was going really well until..........my mother phoned me up on my landline to tell me off for sending pictures of my bare bum!!! I tried to explain but she wouldn't have it.
My nephew and niece thought it was the funniest thing to show their visiting grandmother (my mum) the photo texts that I was sending them. (who pigging needs enemies when you have family like that eh?!)

anyhow i've learnt my lesson.........sort of

really good............a cute little reference to my daughter too

Thank you all for reading the first few blogs on this site! I've been able to get to know new people as well as had an opportunity to touch base with mates I haven't seen for a long time.

For a start a big shout out to the delmonti man Dave and his help in setting up the blogs and the extra technologies involved to get it working. Have a look at his blog site if you haven't already, he's a very funny guy with a cool northern take on life! http://delmonti.blogspot.com/

PT (Pete) great to be in touch with you again dude. Life has moved on for you and i'm pleased. I think you were overdue a bit of 'appy at long last. Pete has 2 blog sites. His main one is http://nowwhathappens.blogspot.com/ but he also has this blog site http://ophabeascorpus.blogspot.com/ a site he has done for his theatre group the 'Ottershaw Players' apparently they are doing a version of Narnia (the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe) in coming months which is pitched for all the family and I’m due to see it with Dave. Do give it a go if you are in the area!!!!

Mel is a new blog mate of mine that lives in the U.S. Her blogs have made really good reading and she has done so well with juggling life. Have a read of her blog, she certainly speaks honestly about life. http://meljoyo.blogspot.com/

Also just to give a heads up to Charlie over in New Zealand!! Thanks for popping by to this site and I hope you do your own one soon, i'll subscribe if you do my pompey lightweight mate. Also big kiss to Kerry for popping by to check my pad out. In fact already i've had visits from the U.S, the Ukraine, Canada and New Zealand to mention some. This puts on the pressure on for me to be interesting now!!!!

I've had loads of time with the kids over this weekend as my wife has been in bed sick most of it. Something that was nice was when my wife took my daughter to the supermarket and my little girl returned with a gift for her daddy. She's only 4 and to have her get her me something special whilst she was out was wonderful!!! There is a problem tho and that is
1)
I dont know what it is (but I think it is a sweet)
2) if my guess is right I dont think I should open it as it a perfect reminder that she loves me as it is.
3) Also I’d rather not find out whether I’d like it or not.
If you can’t read the name it says 'Big Baby Pop'.

dont you think that is just so nice.................
see ya

like sputnik, spherical but quite pointy in parts.....

This quote is from what I view as Mike Myers masterpiece, "So I Married An Axe Murderer". Mainly because it is from here that many ideas for Austin Powers were born. Such as, he played multiple parts in this movie (Charlie MacKenzie & Stuart McKenzie). Also the scottish accent and loud manner used for the AustinPowers character Fat B'stard and even Shrek were originally used for the character Stuart MacKenzie. In my opinion Stuart's (our relationship is such that we are on first name terms) string of abuse to his ginger haired son with an unusually large head are some of the best comedy lines in this and many so-called funny movie's. Some of my friends have been victims of my Stuart MacKenzie moments, all done in an absurd attempt at a scottish accent

In a fight who would win Stuart MacKenzie or the great FB from Austin Powers? Well my money would be on Stuart sonny Jim.

Stuart MacKenzie

or.........

Fat B'Stard! you choose !!!

I leave with this quote......

"look at the size of that boys head, its like an orange on a tooth pick.........he'll be crying himself to sleep tonight on his huge pillow"

oh check out this link to a game of which character from the movie are you?

you've got to start somewhere so stop ya bitching!!!

all about me....blah blah blah

I'm married with children. I love my family dearly and think being a dad is great. I always try to be happy and see the funny side of life although "the man" and grown-up responsibilities can get in the way.

Work is a means to an end, which usually means it ends Friday 5 p.m sharp! (or to those in the know, work ends about 12 noon down the pub!)

I'm a loyal friend to my 'mates'. I have recently found out something new about myself which is that I can be too pushy and persistant at times. This was only discovered after explaining these same traits that I had discovered in my son. At which a number of 'friends' replied he's a chip off the old block.(meaning he's just like me)

My purpose for this blog is to have a place where I can talk about stuff I think about and then use my new found pushy trait to defend my point of view.
